AI has shrunk software development cycles from weeks to days, but that speed has not yet reached the physical world. Physical validation processes have been a barrier to physical AI development and adoption speeds, as slow, costly testing bottlenecks progress. Introducing @antiochrobotics, the simulation platform for physical AI. Antioch enables robotics and autonomy teams to develop, test and validate AI systems in high-fidelity simulation, scaling from a single experiment to thousands of parallel evaluations before real-world deployment. By calibrating high-fidelity simulations to each customer's hardware and running them at cloud scale, the platform enables companies to accelerate development, increase test coverage and bring new capabilities to production faster. When should an early-stage founder hire their first salesperson? Omar Muñoz from Greylock’s Core Talent team has a rule of thumb: close at least five paying customers yourself first. By then, founders should have a clearer sense of their ICP, the pain they’re solving, the objections they hear, and the messaging that works. Then they can hire what an early-stage company actually needs: a builder who can close.

Today we're introducing Oak, the AI-native Identity Operating System. Every enterprise now runs on identities its security tools were never built to see: machines, service accounts, and a fast-growing population of AI agents. Legacy identity governance was built for a static world of human users, and it can't keep pace. Oak builds a live identity graph across every application and identity type, then governs the full lifecycle by comparing the access each identity holds against what it actually uses, with real-time risk decisions and root-cause remediation. The founders know this problem well. Shai Morag has built and sold three security companies. Tal Marom led product teams at Tenable and Salesforce. We are thrilled to share that @glennkelman has joined Greylock as an Executive in Residence. Glenn co-founded Plumtree Software, which went public in 2002, and spent nearly two decades as CEO of @Redfin, building it into the leading technology-powered real estate brokerage. At Greylock, he'll work directly with founders on leadership, company building, and the hard parts of scaling that don't fit neatly into a board deck. We know from working alongside entrepreneurs that building a great product is only part of the journey. The personal growth required to lead a company through every stage of scaling matters just as much. Early in his time at Redfin, Glenn was under enormous pressure and trying to do it all alone. A Greylock partner played a formative role in helping him find a different way to lead.
