As a South Carolina native, I can think of no more fitting tribute to Lindsey Graham's legacy of service to our state and our nation than seeing his beloved sister carry it forward. Darline has always been at her brother’s side and I know she will be an outstanding interim Senator. The U.S. Treasury will do everything possible to support her and her staff as they work on the President’s agenda and continue to provide strong constituent services for the great people of South Carolina.
Senator Lindsey Graham was a great American and Patriot. He was a dedicated public servant who never stopped fighting for the Palmetto State and all Americans. As a Senator he worked tirelessly for our country. It was an honor to call him my friend. And work with him to advance President Trump's agenda at home and on the international stage. Lindsey was a one-of-a-kind politician who could speak at length on both global defense policy and South Carolina kitchen table issues. He will be missed across our state, country and the entire globe. My prayers are with his sister and extended family during this difficult time.

Two hundred and fifty years ago, a band of patriots gathered in Philadelphia and changed the course of history. One year ago, @POTUS signed the Working Families @TaxCuts into law and it took only a single tax season for American families and workers to overwhelmingly benefit from lower taxes, bigger refunds, and increased take home pay. As promised, President Trump and the unity of a Republican majority in Washington delivered this landmark legislation that codifies the America First agenda and lays the foundation for a new era of American prosperity.
As we approach America’s 250th anniversary, our national prosperity remains rooted in the enduring principles of faith, family, liberty, and opportunity. Given @SenWarren’s prior celebration of the Supreme Court’s misguided decision compelling tariff refunds, one might have expected her to consider the obvious consequences. Many companies — both foreign and domestic — would simply pocket those refunds, and Japanese companies are now claiming $3 billion worth of refunds from the @USTreasury. Her latest theatrics ignore the facts. As the companies profiled here make clear, tariffs were not borne by American consumers in the way Senator Warren claimed. Fortunately for the American people, Senator Warren’s shortsighted histrionics will never dictate Trump Administration policy. Fair, reciprocal trade that puts America First will be restored, and President Trump’s tariff rates will return to where they belong.
Today's action highlights the extent to which Mexico's cartels are expanding beyond traditional drug trafficking to generate revenue for their criminal organizations, which continue to traffic deadly drugs that kill Americans. Treasury's actions targeting these illicit revenue streams advance the Trump Administration's priority of dismantling these terrorist organizations and making America safe again.

America’s competitive advantage has never been confined to the bounty of our natural resources or the depth of our capital markets. It has always resided in the character and capacity of our people. In line with the ongoing productive talks in Switzerland, Iran has committed to free and open transit in the Strait of Hormuz and to permit International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors into their country.
