They LOVE IT! As machines do more of the work, the part of being human that keeps growing is the part that does.

Many people underestimate how negatively lack of sleep affects judgment, learning, and problem-solving. And no, this is not just a kids' thing. We depend on our brain; give it adequate rest!

Wanting to become rich tells me very little about what you’re going to build... Tell me whose life you want to improve. How much will it cost to reach the goal? How long will it take? What people have given up hope for? NOW you have a business plan.

If you have a 20-year vision for your company, you should also have a 20-year vision for your health!

The most compelling reason I work out to build muscle has very little to do with how I look shirtless. It’s being able to carry your own groceries, get up off the floor, and keep doing the things you love decades from now. Independence is 100% WORTH training for.

Abundance is sometimes treated like a utopian slogan. I see it as social infrastructure. When housing, energy, healthcare, education, and transportation become more affordable, people gain something deeper than purchasing power.

I don’t believe AI will make humans useless. What concerns me is a future where millions of people become so dependent on AI that they stop thinking critically, questioning its answers, and making decisions for themselves. AI should amplify human intelligence, not replace independent thought. It should be an extension OF you.

A family cannot pay today's rent based on a prediction of abundance in 2035. We need to build long-term cost reductions while creating practical ways for people to participate now.

There's so much exponential technology being developed right now for your benefit. The only thing I ask of you is not to die from something stupid!

Your mindset is one of the most powerful tools you possess. When you know your worth, have clarity about your goals, and believe in what's possible, you begin to see opportunities where others are very likely to see obstacles.

Will AI create more wealth? Yes, it will. I am more focused on whether the young person entering the workforce can see a credible path to participating in that wealth.

How do I stay optimistic while reading 100+ stories a week (Including the negative ones)? For me, optimism is a conclusion that I can keep re-deriving from evidence. Perhaps once the data proves me wrong, I'll change; however, forty years in, I've never been this excited about the future.

I'm optimistic that a decade from now, or perhaps less, it will seem unbelievable that we used to wait nine months or more for a specialist. Years for transplants and life-saving medical care to treat diseases.

I always say we are perhaps living in the single greatest moment in human history, and believe me I stand by it. Here's the proof: - All-time high literacy rates - Record healthspans - Energy access globally is at record highs - Child survival rates have shattered expectations - Intelligence & energy are collapsing in cost for the first time ever What else can we ask for?

Think about this...  Was the question ever about whether a technology is dangerous? Fire is dangerous. Nuclear is dangerous.  So many things we consider 'dangerous' we use in ways that have revolutionized society. With AI, however, we should learn to use this technology FASTER than we fear it.

What's your definition of superintelligence? Beating one human? Beating all of humanity combined? Across which dimensions of intelligence?

The riskiest career over the next ten years is the one that feels safest today. Comfort is a lagging indicator. By the time a job feels threatened, the people who moved early already own the new one.

I do not want a positive story that asks people to look away from suffering, but one that points to a place where suffering declined, names what worked, and invites more people to finish the job.

The FDA approved 45 novel drugs in the first nine months of 2026, versus 32 over the same stretch in 2025 (about 41% more). Those approvals expand options for diagnosis and treatment, including for people living with serious and rare diseases. I expect this number to keep going up.

About 92% of humanity had access to electricity in 2024, up from 78% in 2000. Between 2021 and 2023 alone, the number of people with access to electricity grew by roughly 219 million. Despite this, there's interest out there that questions whether the progress is real.

"We don't want AI" is an interesting way to face the future. Your customers are probably using it and adopting it faster than you are. They are doing things now that they couldn't do before. This is a way to fall out of relevance fast.

You don't need 100% certainty that the future will be better to work towards improving it. You need to believe YOUR effort matters instead. That's the foundation to get started.

Palmer Luckey believes humanoid robots have an extraordinary future, and that's precisely why he doesn’t feel compelled to build them himself. Other teams are already pursuing them. Confidence in a technology doesn’t obligate you to start a company in it.

A Moonshot while solving a problem also needs a path to becoming affordable. You can develop an extraordinary solution, but the people who might need it would not be able to access it. Cost belongs in the original ambition.

You do NOT need to be the world's leading expert on any subject to start working on a problem.

Enormous markets attract entrepreneurs, but I also believe enormous neglected problems should attract them too.

AGI will NOT end human purpose.

What’s your moonshot? Be specific enough that someone could help you. Who would benefit? What would change in their life? What breakthrough would make it possible? A clear ambition gives other people a way to join you.
